Mary Reams, MD
- Dr. Reams is an Ophthalmologist (Medical Doctor) who is a specialist in eye surgery and the Medical and Surgical treatment of the eyes and their associated structures.
- Dr. Reams received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Kentucky in 1975. She completed her Doctor of Medicine, also at the University of Kentucky in 1979, and a medical internship in Neurology In 1980.
- From 1980 to 1983 Dr. Reams attended Vanderbilt University, where she received her specialized training in Ophthalmology, and was chief resident in Ophthalmology from 1982 to 1983.
- Upon completing her Ophthalmic training (EYE PHYSICIAN AND SURGEON) Dr. Reams returned to her home town of Ashland, KY where she is now in private practice.
- She became a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1985, and has provided CATARACT AND LASER SURGERY to Tri-State resident for the past 36 years.

HMO (Health Maintence Organization) require that the patient have a referal on file from their primary care physician that is listed on their card if we do not have a referal on file that patient will be rescheduled until the referal is obtained. Per the examples below insurance cards will have the type of plan listed in the corner of your medical insurance card.
Medicare and most commercial insurance companies consider a REFRACTION to be routine and will not pay for this procedure, the current fee for this procedure is $60.00
Deductible and copayments are due at the time of service.
